Having moved to a rural one acre property in 2019, my wife and I have began working on backyard conservation. We wrote a stewardship plan, and have been keeping a log book of animal and bird sighting, identified fauna, renovations, and project work (such as maple sugaring).

On March 27, 2020 our property was recognized by the Canadian Wildlife Federation as a Certified Wildlife-friendly Habitat.
