Today I sent in a membership form for the Society for the Study of Disability in the Middle Ages. This is a subject I find very interesting due to my own "invisible" disabilities and involvement with a medieval recreation group.

Hand Bound Edition of HISTORIA SEPTENTRIAE

This is a hand bound edition of my book HISTORIA SEPTENTRIAE. The text is a history of my local chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), and details how the group came to be, how it evolved, and deeds of some of the people who played here. It was written under the pseudonym Brother Thomas of the Order of St. Crispinus, while the foreword is written from the point of view of my persona (character) within the SCA, Colyne Stewart.

This book was set-up and bound by Michaela Helliwell, and the photographs were also taken by her.
